Daffodil Hill Press: Stories That Make a Difference

At Daffodil Hill Press, we create decodable books—books specifically designed to help students learn to read using phonics, by sounding out words. Many phonics-based books often have confusing plots, unnatural sentences and lack diversity. We set out to change that. Our decodable books feature meaningful stories that make sense and reflect the diverse backgrounds of real families and communities. Our books highlight different ethnicities, gender expressions, and family structures, which is why we call them "Little books with big hearts." We also provide lesson plans and easy-to-use materials
